This page describes what the What Size Is My PDF? website does with information as it is implemented today. It is not a legal certification and does not claim compliance with any particular privacy law.
PDF files you select
- When you choose a PDF, your browser reads it on your device using the File API.
- Page-size analysis runs locally with the bundled PDF.js library and its local Web Worker.
- The PDF is not uploaded to this site’s hosting provider, to a database, or to any other server for analysis or storage.
- File bytes and document content stay in browser memory only as needed for that analysis session.
- This site’s application code does not send selected document contents or filenames to analytics, advertising, or logging services.
What the hosting service delivers
Like any static website, your browser requests HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related assets from the host that serves this site. Those requests are normal web traffic (for example, loading the page and scripts). They are separate from selecting a PDF: choosing a file does not upload that file to the host for processing.
Accounts and storage
This site does not offer user accounts. It does not store your PDFs in a database or cloud document storage operated by this project.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising (current state)
- The site’s own application code does not set cookies for tracking or accounts.
- No third-party analytics library is included in the current build.
- No live advertising scripts (including Google AdSense) are included in the current build.
If advertising, analytics, or consent tooling is added later, this Privacy Policy must be reviewed and updated first so it matches what the live site actually does.
